Grandma in hospital. Need help..?

My friend has a grandma that is going in the hospital becuase she has cancer. she wants to make her a gift basket (no foods because she doesnt know what she can eat) She is going to put crossword puzzle, word search books, magazines. Does anybody have any ideas of what else she should put in the basket.
