What kind of prosperity doesn't reference anyone else?

You must find an absolute prosperity, not a relative one to get your answer. We each have a limitless treasure within. People who have discovered that treasure are the most prosperous in the world and don't need to reference anyone else. If you ever meet such a person you will remember them because they are fully contented and carry themselves with the utmost dignity. Their words have wisdom and people revere them for hundreds and thousands of years. Yet, these people have no need to compare their treasure with anyone or anything else because its value is absolute, not relative. They have nothing to prove. All the rest of what we call prosperity is relative and thus requires a reference to give it value.
